    Description
Classic twin engine aircraft. Recent new compass, tires and brakes. Additional pictures and info at: (http://firsttraderegistry.com/forsale/5_06/aero_commander/index.htm) Max gross weight 6000 lbs. Useful load 1955 lbs. This airplane is a heavy hauler! Currently owned by Pilots For Christ, International - Virginia Chapter(owned 6 years). Primary usage has been medical mercy missions. Reason for selling is that we have too few volunteer pilots that meet minimum insurance requirements. 153 gallons of fuel capacity, so it has reasonable range. Economy cruise consumes 27 gal/hour at 145 knots. Max cruise about 35 gal/hour at 165 knots. This airplane can be loaded up with 7 people (170 lbs avg), full fuel, 120 lbs baggage and still remain under max gross. There is a lot of good flying left in this airplane. It can be flown, as is, restored, or would make an excellent candidate for a Shrike conversion.
