This Mil 17 is one of two for sale from our exclusive broker in Asia. Both aircraft were overhauled in Russia in 2010/11 and are in excellent condition. The helicopter were in use by a government department which is now down sizing the fleet and need to dispose of the helicopter. This example is configured for VIP passenger transport as opposed to the troop configuration.
The versatile Mi-17-1B helicopters are famous for their high performance characteristics and a functionally designed for 14 passengers. The maximum flying range is 600 km with a maximum speed of 250 km per hour. They can carry up to 4 tons of cargo and the instrumentation can perform various functions in virtually any meteorological conditions. The multi-purpose Mi-17 is a modernized version of Mi-8 helicopter which has become the world most popular helicopter that is found in 80 countries.
We encourage sensible offers but astute buyers will appreciate that these aircraft, in this condition, are rarely seen on the international market outside of Russia.
