Basic Empty Wt 1353 lb, Gross Wt 2200 lb, Useful Load 847 lb Considerable work done on airframe in Moultrie, GA in 2009 Date: 10/10/2009 Make: Maule Model: MX-7-160 Serial: 19030C Registration: N45LK Tach Time: 342.3 Hobbs Time: 71.6 Total Time: 342.3 Removed both landing gear oleos and replaced with new progressive rate oleos PN:4008-1 SN:2735L and PN:4008-2 SN:2690R using all new hardware included in Maule Stress kit #4035. Installed new hardware in both main landing gear A-frames as supplied in Maule Stress kit #4035. Cleaned and inspected main wheel bearings. Replaced bearing cup PN:214-00100 and cone PN:214-00200 in left main inner wheel half. Reinstalled main wheels using improved stainless steel axle nuts PN:4140 and retainer PN: 4141-1 Removed tail wheel leaf springs and powder coated black. Reinstalled leaf springs using Maule Stress Kit #4001 and heavy duty clamp PN:4003. Disassembled the tail wheel, replaced the upper bearing PN:10059A-2 and outer tail wheel bearing PN:10059A-1 with new, cleaned and lubed bearings. Installed new tail wheel steering spring set PN:TW48,85,54,55,56, new hub cap PN:TW32 and new retaining clip PN:TW33. Reassembled and installed tail wheel, function checked normal. Installed new rudder trim cables PN:3173-1. Installed new top forward elevator cable, all 4 aileron cables and both rudder cables with new PN:1/8x7x19 stainless cable using new nicopress sleeves PN:428-4-VM and PN:AN100C-4 stainless thimbles. Modified right aileron cutout to allow for proper travel. Installed Aileron trim tab PN:3056 onto the right aileron to facilitate rigging. Installed right rudder trim reinforcement PN:3272. Replaced Hobbs oil pressure switch with new approved PN:76052. Installed new quick release rear seat kit PN:1342. Install new stainless front seat adjusters PN:1224. Replaced 3” intake duct with new PN:05-29912. Installed new fuel pressure hose as required for compliance with SB#15. Replaced all 4 exhaust headers PN:5294 with new, using new Lycoming no blow gaskets PN:77611 and all new hardware. Welded small crack on the top of the left muffler. Replaced right muffler with like new serviceable muffler. Installed all new exhaust tail pipes PN:5332-1 left and PN:5332-2 right using new hangar straps PN:5074. Replaced right tail pipe clamp PN:5072 with new. Installed new Brackett Aero Filters, Inc. PN: BA-6108 induction air filter element. Verified compliance with the following Maule Service Bulletins: 9,11,12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24, 26, 30 and 31. Verified compliance with the following Maule Service Letters: 58, 63, and 64.
