    Good Strong Compression all the way around on a Continental 0-300B 145 hp engine. It cruises around 100 kt at 7.5 gph and will go about 3.5 to 4 hours on full tanks. It can carry around 900 lbs. This is one great family, travel, hunting, sight seeing, all around aircraft. I have flown it around the state and love it. The 170 is one of the most all around useful planes around.
