    Engine

    Engine Notes
The Xtreme Decathlon uses Lycoming's latest engine, the 210HP AEIO-390. The new 210HP engine is based on the proven IO-360 series with the primary difference being larger bore cylinders yielding greater horsepower and torque. ACA's engineers were challenged with reducing airframe weight to offset the added 40 lbs of the new 210HP engine. In a remarkable feat of engineering ACA's engineers were able to shave off 50 lbs of airframe weight making the new 210HP Xtreme 10lbs lighter than a similarly equipped 180HP Super Decathlon from 2010! More power and less Weight equals big performance gains!

    Props

    Prop Notes
MT's latest Wide Chord carbon fiber propeller converts the extra 30HP into thrust without adding excess weight.
