It served in the military with serial 56-0402, until it went into storage in 1972 at David Monthan AFB. In 1975 it was brought back to airworthy condition and flew with The Department of Emergency in Salem, OR, with tail number N67146. In 1980 it was sold to a private owner, who flew it under the same registration number until he sold it in 1982. It then became a corporate plane with the registration N555EF, until it was sold to yet another private owner in 1987. He changed the registration to its current one, N755JM. In 2003 the aircraft was sold to a private owner in The Netherlands and transported to a container to Lelystad. The current owner has equipped the aircraft with state of the art avionics and a new engine and prop, which make it a perfect plane for long cross-country flights. The beautiful military paint scheme is exactly to the specifications by the USAF, except for the “MARINES” markings.
