    Description
There is only one ¡§Number One.¡¨ One first, and one Lear 28 that is¡K A legend ¡V in 1979 this Lear 28 with astronaut Neil Armstrong at the controls, broke several world performance records for business class aircraft. Among them time-to-climb to 15,000 meters (49,213 feet in 12 min 26 sec) and sustained flight at flight level 510. The time-to-climb record is still held by this aircraft today. The combination of the Lear 25 fuselage and Longhorn wing, later used on the Lear 55 and Lear 31 models results in an impressive performer. The Lear 28 is very stable, has very low takeoff and landing speeds and subsequently can operate from runways of 3100¡¦ fully loaded at sea level on a standard day. This Lear 28 is the first production business aircraft with winglets. 7381Landings
