    Bell TAH-1 Cobra gunship, original with complete transfer from the U.S. Army as a flyer, not homebuilt from scrap parts, dual controls, fresh Hot section on -703 engine, new paint, good component times, current annual, ADs c/w, fly it home now. $1,950,000 All FAA AD’s for the AH-1 series helicopter and T-53-703 engine have been complied with along with Honeywell Service bulletin 20. The helicopter will be sold with current condition inspection and FAA approved maintenance program. This Cobra was built as a productions S model in 1976 and was later converted to TAH-1 status and assigned to training U.S. Army pilots at Ft. Rucker Alabama. This helicopter was used primarily for the training of new Apache Helicopter pilots. Declared surplus to the Army it was acquired by a trade with the Army Museum in 1995 along with three others by Northwest Helicopters Inc. The TAH status allows this Cobra to be sold surplus as a ‘Trainer”. There were only 12 TAH Cobra’s released. These are the only Cobra’s that have legal transfers from the government and can be owned by civilians.
