Lycoming Crankshaft Service Bulletin (Optional) Complied with at 1,020TT (12/2008): Optional crankshaft replacement offered by Lycoming installed. The crankshaft replacement was mandatory by an AD in similar engines that were not derated, but rather optional in the TB21, which is derated to 250 HP. In addition, since engine was completely disassembled for the crankshaft replacement, owner also opted to have new cylinders and cylinder heads, pistons, camshaft and other items as outlined in the engine maintenance logs replaced. All parts brand new and supplied by Lycoming.
