    Description
The Piet has been sitting for about 4 years after damage from a passing thunderstorm, the plane was flipped on it's leash and one wingtip and the cabanes were damaged. I purchased it in May '06 but my hanger upgrade has been postponed. I hate to sell but I have no where to put it. Currently the plane is with the seller I purchased it from (Florida) but it's got to go. Past Airworthiness Cert issued

    Interior

    Interior Notes
Fair - This plane appears to be heavier than most Piets, probably do to the builder’s tastes (carpeting, sport car type seats and upholstery) I would replace with Wicker or Sling seats and gut anything else non-essential Have a look - http://www.buythisplaneonline.com
    Year Interior

    Inspection Status

    Inspection Status
I have inspected the plane and it appears solid, the craftsmanship is acceptable, however the paint is shabby, the gear needs to be re-corded, the top decking between the seats needs attention. The buyer should go through it completely while making the storm repairs (just to be sure). The power plant is a standard Corvair (reportedly low time) but again the buyer should have a speed shop or an A&P familiar with type to inspect. I estimated between 80 - 120 hours of my time would be required to taxi with the wings on after need repairs and mods. Have a look - http://www.buythisplaneonline.com
