    Description
    THIS ALBATROSS IS ONE OF THE RARE ORIGINAL LONG WING AIRCRAFT NOT CONVERTED AND WAS DELIVERED TO THE WEST GERMAN GOVERNMENT IN 1959. THIS AIRCRAFT WAS COMPLETELY RESTORED 156 HOURS AGO IN 1997. THE FABRIC SURFACES WERE RECOVERED WITH CECONITE, ALL HYDRAULIC AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS WERE REVIEWED AND OR OVERHAULED OR REPLACED AS NEEDED. ALL EXTERIOR LANDING GEAR HYDRAULIC LINES WERE REPLACED WITH STAINLESS LINES. IN ADDITION TO NEW WHEELS AND BRAKES. ALL THE ACTUATORS WERE ALSO REPLACED. THE FUEL SYSTEM WAS COMPLETELY OVERHAULED, REPLACING MOST LINES, ALL PUMPS, VALVES, HOSES AND FUEL STRAINERS WITH NEW COMPONENTS. THE WRIGHT 1820-1000 ENGINES WHERE OVERHAULED USING ALL NEW OR OVERHAULED COMPONENTS FIRE WALL FORWARD. DURING THE RESTORATION A NEW FACTORY FLOOR WAS INSTALLED , PLUS ALL NEW CABIN WINDOWS. MOREOVER NEW INSTRUMENT PANELS WERE BUILT AND ALL NEW ELECTRIC GYRO INSTRUMENTS AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS WHERE INCORPORATED. THIS AIRCRAFT OPERATES IN THE RESTRICTED CATEGORY. ALL SEATS ARE FINISHED IN MEDIUM GRAY FABRIC, THE HEADLINER AND SIDE PANELS ARE FINISHED IN A CREAMY WHITE VINYL. SUPER SOUND PROOFING WAS ALSO INSTALLED AT THE TIME OF THE RESTORATION. AFT LAV AREA WITH PORT-A-POTTY AND SINK. MAINTENANCE. THIS AIRCRAFT IS VERY CLEAN AND HAS NO CORROSION.
