2001 Micco SP26 925 TTAF, 725 since new engine and prop. less than 50 hours in acrobatic category. IFR certified GPS plus certified for positive g aerobatics. 150 KTAS/15gph IFR cruiser and gentleman's acro when you feel like it. Airplane currently flown about 150 hours per year. Airframe Notes
This airframe was the prototype for aerobatic certification of the SP26. Prior to remanufacture and conversion to the SP26 configuration in October of 2000, the airframe had 185 hours in the SP20 configuration - no logs prior to the remanufacture. Multiple modifications, inspections and recertification of the airframe during the re-manufacture and certification process. All canopy glass replaced in 2007. Cracked tailwheel support bulkhead replaced in 2007.
Empty weight is 2174 pounds, including 48 pounds of unusable fuel. Useful load 475 pounds in the acrobatic category, 675 pounds in the utility category.

725 hours since new. Regular oil analysis with no issues past three years. Running smooth and strong. Subject to Lycoming crankshaft AD which requires the crankshaft to be replaced by October of 2012. New crankshaft has been purchased and is included in the price of the aircraft. Buyer can enjoy flying the airplane until October of 2012, and then have the new crankshaft installed, or have it installed earlier if desired.

Paint is original. Metallic burgundy over white, with blue and silver trim. Acryglo with clear coat for colors, jetglo for the white sections. Leading edges repainted in 2009. Some small sections where touch up is evident, but still a pretty airplane.

Grey leather oregon aero foam seats, with grey leather trim panels and black carpet. No rips or tears, but a few wrinkles. Original, comfortable, about 7 out of 10.
