Tail damaged in landing accident in 2008. There is older damage history as well but the aircraft has no special inspections required from repairs.
This US Registered Helio has been in Cameroon, Africa, flying in mission support work. It has been maintained by JAARS personnel since 1975 and kept in very good condition. This Helio was a USAF U-10B converted to civilian use by JAARS in 1975. It is in Cameroon at this time. The aircraft has been hangared and not flown since August, 2012. Based at Yaounde, (capital).
