Description
N26C is a 1958 Forney but more commonly known as an Ercoupe. Only three owners since new and has always hangared. This plane is in fantastic condition! Just annualed this July 2011 and fly cheap using auto fuel (STC included). Avionics include Icom-200, King KX145 NAV/COM as a second transceiver and VOR receiver, King transponder with mode C, and panel mounted Garmin 296 GPS. You may find an Ercoupe for less, but you will easily spend that and more to make most Coupes as nice and as well maintained as N26C. Asking price is $28,900 or will trade as down pmt toward helicopter. The aircraft is located at K5C1 airport in Boerne, Texas. For more info email me at [email protected] Fantastic Ercoupe. Less than 2500 total hours (less than 50 hours/year). Fresh Annual and all AD's.

Engine Notes
Continental C-90 with a major overhaul was done 1483 hours ago, and a top overhaul performed just 120 hours ago. Compression is strong in all cylinders. A spin-on oil filter was installed (not just a metal screen) to further protect the engine and prolong its life. A quick oil drain makes oil changes fast and easy, even for the novice. The alternator was recently replaced, and the fuel pump was replaced in 2009. New engine baffleing was recently installed, keeping the engine running cool at all power settings. The fuel line is fired-sleeved from the valve to the carburetor.
Props
Prop Notes
The prop is only seven (7) year old, dynamically balanced, and has 3M Prop Guard Tape.
Modifications/Conversions
Modifications/Conversions
STC for Auto Fuel. The old rubber donuts on the main landing gear were replaced with Belleville springs ($500), so costly removal and replacement, required every few years is no longer necessary.
