    Description
    3/4 scale P-51 with ALL of the original P-51 performance. Newly renovated Thunder Mustang. This one of a kind Thunder Mustang was the second Thunder Mustang completed and flown. This aircraft was built by the original designer Dan Denny of Papa 51. N7TR competed in the Reno Air Races in September 2000 and took home the second place trophy in the Sport Class Gold with a lap speed of 312.935 mph. Purchased by Steve Potter in 2006, this plane has been completely overhauled by the original Papa 51 team. The overhaul includes a brand new Falconer engine, installed in June 2008, upgrading the panel to include a Garmin 430, replacement upgrade of all cooling systems, the oil drain system, replacing all hoses and numerous other improvements too numerous to list.
