The Plane skate is the fastest and safest way of moving a disabled aircraft with a flat tire from a hard surface runway or taxiway without having to go through the time consuming process of using jacks or removing the tire, brake assembly or wheel fairings. The Plane Skate reduces any unnecessary runway closure time and takes only minutes to load and move. The Plane Skate is made of 1/4” and 5/16” solid steel plates and eight (8) 1200 lbs heavy-duty casters (3200 lbs per landing gear leg), making this durable platform capable of moving most aircraft as large as a Cessna Caravan aircraft to as small as a Piper Cub. It is also designed with ample area on the platform to load most aircraft equipped with wheel fairings and even tail wheels. Directions 1. Attach gear or tire to dolly strap. 2. Line up swivel wheels in direction of pull. 3. Winch tire or wheel evenly and straight onto dolly. 4. Secure wheel or landing gear to dolly with additional straps or chocks. 5. Dolly towing speed should not exceed 5 mph.
