The new Jihlavan Kappa KP-5 (Wide Body) brings unparalleled cabin room (47 in width) and a 'big aircraft' look & feel to Light Sport Aircraft. Equipped with the venerable Rotax 912 engine, this all-metal aircraft has a large canopy offering superior in-flight visibility and highly effective full fowler flaps enabling great short field landing operations. The KP-5's flight controls are very well harmonized making it noted for its outstanding in-flight handling qualities. The pilot and co-pilot's seats & flight controls are staggered slightly (a bit like the Navy's A-6 Intruder) to offer extra shoulder room and improved pilot cross-cockpit visibility.
