Description
Sportsman to Unlimited this aircraft can do it all. The bottom line is this is the nicest DR-107 available. This airplane was built for serious acro and has only 39 hours on it. No hard landings, no hard acro, no unknown unverifiable history. This is a no nonsense aircraft that was built specifically for aerobatics. For show she has a double injection smoke system driven by a 110 GPH pump.

Airframe
Airframe Notes
This plane was constructed from a kit built by Doug Dodge of Acro Specialities. The frame was welded in his shop in his jigs by a professional welder and is top quality. The sheet metal is NOT the overlapped type. This sheet metal is form fit like a factory aircraft and is the best sheet metal I have seen. The cowl is also top quality from Dougs molds. The wings are from the Scheunemann kit with the Douglas Fir spar, lighter but more expensive than the Spruce Spar.

Engine 1 Overhaul Type
SMOH
Engine Notes
The Engine is an IO-360 completely overhauled by Ly-Con Aviation, the list of new parts is long and includes a new solid flange crankshaft and new 10:1 pistons. A new christen inverted oil system, sky dynamics cold air induction and new sky dynamics stainless exhaust. The oil pan is also custom and has a swinging pickup. This engine is an angle valve engine which is considerably lighter than the parallel valve which makes it a much better candidate for this aircraft. Also, built to its present specs the angle valve engine will provide 220 horsepower or more. The fuel servo was overhauled by D&G to certified standards.
Props
Prop Notes
The propeller is not a constant speed unit. It is a new Sensenich built for competition.
