    Engine Notes
Rotax 914 Turbo 115 hp Primary and secondary fuel pumps With an OAT of 75F at 5000 ft, 12 gallons of fuel, and 200 lbs of passangers: 121 kts cruise 75% power setting Using the turbo charger I see a 2% increase in speed per 1000 ft climb. At 18,000 ft. a cruise speed of 153 kts. on 5.7 gph. OAT directly effects the temps from the turbo charger into the Airbox because there is no intercooler. Higher OAT will cause the turbo waste gate to open if the Airbox temp is too high, this directly effects MP at higer altitudes.
