Summary of Major Work Completed:
86774 has been totally disassembled down to bare aluminum and restored with new hardware and equipment. This is possibly one of the most original Wildcats still flying with all original equipment as it would have rolled off the assembly line with. It still retains all of its original armor plating, replica guns and original radios. All hardware is CAD 1 plated Silver as well as original hose clamps, AN fittings, and fabric coated wiring. This Wildcat can be equipped to use a Breeze Shotgun Starter that uses a 4 gauge blank shotgun cartridge to start the engine. Original shells and re-loadable shells will be included. A normal electric starter is currently installed.
