This is a twin turbine engine helicopter that seats 9 people. It is registered in the U.S. with registration # N2538E and had a complete overhaul in 2005. This Mil helicopter was designed and engineered in Russia by the most intelligent helicopter engineer to ever live, Mikhail Leontyevich Mil. http://avia.russian.ee/people/mil/index.html In the most recent 1000hr inspection on this Mi-2 the main rotor blade was replaced. The next major item that needs to be replaced is the tail rotor in 161hrs. They are very inexpensive and we have an extra one we could sell as well for about $5,000. No other major maintenance needs to be done until 500 hours. We can supply any parts that you might need for this Mil helicopter in the future. The POH, Maintenance Manual, and Log books are all in English. Any certified A&P could perform the necessary maintenance on this helicopter with the Maintenance Manual. We have electronic copies of everything as well in pdf format. This helicopter also comes with the auxiliary fuel tanks.
