    1964 M20E Super 21--extensively modified and updated by Ivan James of the original Mooney mod works group. See details below. 340 SMOH which included Ney nozzle mod, new oil pump assembly and gears with oiling mod, new camshaft, rods, starter, alternator, oil/fuel lines and more. 40 STOH with Ni-Si cylinders, new pistons, rings, and wrist pins. (rings did not seat well in original Cr cylinders) 340 since Hartzell CS prop overhaul. Annual inspection in July 2006 with all ADs up to date. Aircraft is nicely rigged and very fast.

    All new flight instruments installed in 201 style instrument panel. S-Tec system 180 electric HSI and B F Goodrich electric AI backed by Sigma Tech vacuum DG and AI. KX-155/KI-209, KN-64 DME, King 76A transponder, KMA audio panel. Davtrons 877 and 655 and digital fuel flow. PSE 2000 4 way stereo intercom with 2 Sennhieser NC headsets. Ample space for Garmin 430 or other upgrades.

    8/10. Painted in 1995. Tanks resealed in 1995 with seep repaired by Don Maxwell in 2006. Mods include: 201 windshield with all new side windows. 201 spinner and cowl closure. One piece belly mod, wing root fairings, aileron and flap gap seals, dorsal fin with rudder and elevator gap seals. Fairing on aileron, flap, rudder, and elevator hinges. New hardware installed on aileron, flap, elevator, and rudder hinges, and empenage attachment points, and in nosewheel steering assembly. 201 shock discs with updated gear struts. Aircraft was landed off field when new in 1964 but skin damage was expertly repaired to new standards. No corrosion and never landed gear up. Custon canopy by Bruce and sunshields for all windows.Aircraft is nicely rigged and very fast.

    8/10 custom interior in 1995 with tan/brown fabric. 201 style insturment panel with post lights and flourscent panel lighting backed up with emergency battery power. Pilot/copilot articulating sun visors.
