This Comanche is an excellent aircraft for Cross country. It is one of the fastest, well equiped and good looking 260C Comanche anywhere. The performance of this Comanche is comparable to its cousin the Comanche 400 but with about the third less fuel consumption. It is flown regularly about 50-100 hrs per year. It flies at an impressive speed of 175-185 kts(Ground Speed at 8500 ft, which means that you' ll pass most single aircrafts including all 250 and 260 normal aspirated Comanches. Engine is IO-540-R1-A5 which is factory installed on the 260C turbo model. This engine is not the same as normal aspirated found on other Comanches. It was designed with heavy duty crankshaft, piston and valves to be able to produce 260 hp at any altitude. Although the engine is original since new and it is in excellent running condition (Compression is 75/80 or better, all cyl), both Turbo chargers, all the Exhaust hardwares, clamps etc have all been replaced. Other newer components are: both Mags, both Exh Stacks, Engine gaskets & seals, Fuel Distributor. I have also installed the Gami injectors and what a difference it made with all 6 cyl EGT/CHT now being even. There is also engine Fire Wall and Interior Sound-Proofing.

Prop: 450hrs, balanced within last 50 hr.

This Comanche has all the available mods such as wing root fairing, gap seals, Inflatable door seal, etc. The speed increase with the mods is about 10-15kts.
