Description
Features: Type Certified - not like your usual warbird - economical 200hp fuel injected Lycoming AIO-360A1B6, IFR , Inverted oil, equipped with glideslope and DME, Mode C encoding altimeter, Fully Aerobatic(+6/-3) - Dual Stick controls. Great Trainer. Constant speed prop, 28 volt system ,Cheap and plentiful spares in the USA and UK, Full maintenance manuals, Pilot's manual and checklists, Flight instructor’s manual, Type training available - But you probably don’t need it! Insurance training available. Will deliver. Basics: 8263 TTAF, <1000 since IRAN on eng (a new crankshaft approx 750 hrs ago and all new steel cylinders approx 250 hrs ago, 78/80 all cylinders) Hartzell constant speed prop, rebuilt and yellow tagged on 11/08/98; stripped cleaned inspected, new “o” rings and seals, blade angles reset and balanced on 10/01/00; eddy current inspection IAW Hartzell SB-61-227 completed with no indication of cracking on 09/06/03. (Approximately 325 hrs on the prop) Span 33 ft length 23 ft Empty wt 1683 lbs Max t.o.wt 2350 lbs The Bulldog in the photo is registered Experimental-Exhibition and has flown approx 70 hours in the USA to date since FAA registration in December 2000; just annualed in December 2003. The cruise speed is 120 kts. It stalls dirty at around 50 kts. Rate of climb - I am getting about 1000 ft/minute with 2 of us in it weighing 450 lb. Avionics - com, nav with glide slope, DME, Mode C. Fuel capacity 32 imperial gallons, consumption from 5 to 11 gal/hr. The Bulldog is available in the experimental-exhibition category . This bulldog is one built in 1974/75. It doesn’t have any damage history. It has been maintained regardless of expense so everything is top notch. It has a custom canopy cover that protects from UV and insulated to keep from damaging the plexiglass. It has formed seat back covers. Other than these two items it is in original condition. All components work and the pitot static and transponder inspections are in date. It sounds and flies super. Two original British headsets are included. I am asking $53,000 OBO (upon inspection).
