The Great Lakes Aircraft Corporation, from Cleveland, Ohio boasts a long history of superb aircraft designs; most notably the 2T-1 biplane introduced in the late 1920's, with an 85HP Cirrus III inline engine.
The company was sold in the 1970's where the newly formed Great Lakes Aircraft Company developed the 2T-1A-1 with a larger tail, and from 1973 onwards, the 2T-1A-2, sporting a 180HP Lycoming power plant.
This beautiful example is offered for sale with a recent annual inspection, fresh propeller hours and full maintenance history.
