    Description
The plane was completely rebuilt in 2000 to such an extent that only a few small parts and the metal wing spars remain from the original PA-12. This heavily modified plane has 790 hours on all it's components and the new fuselage. These 790 hours since new have complete logs to present in great detail. The actual original PA-12 that was built in 1947 had about 4700 hours on it when all this work was done. There is a very basic copy of a few pages of the original Piper logbook just to show what it was, but there is almost nothing left of that plane so it could be sensibly considered that this modified plane has only 790 hours on it. Everything was done so that the plane still retains it's certified category. It is not experimental. If you bought an old PA-12 or a new fuselage and engine and built this plane up, it would cost over $200,000.
