Client has all the books: aircraft log, maintenance, and prop log book, See photo listing a small repair and inspection. Photos show inspections, hours, a repair and additional information on the plane, however, client has all complete records through its last flight. Cub history: The Sport Cub S2 is literally a reinvention of the classic Piper Super Cub. It features the same super-strong, lightweight airframe as the top-of-the-line Carbon Cub SS. That means more room, greater safety and simply extraordinary STOL performance. All this, while in full compliance with Light Sport Certification Rules. This is an airplane that you take to for the simple joy of flying. Cruise low over fresh mown fields - open the windows and hang your elbow out. Follow the curves of a river. When you see an inviting gravel bank, extend the flaps and drop in for a picnic or even an overnight camping adventure. (There's space for up to 120 pounds of cargo.) When it's time to go, an amazingly short takeoff and you're back in the air. The S2 puts you in touch with the very essence of stick and rudder flying, complimented with thoroughly modern touches such as adjustable seating, cabin heating and standard AmSafe airbags. Additional note: Their was minor damage to the prop. It brushed against a mesquite bush and when it was repaired they also took apart the engine in the process. This took place approx. 9 years ago and the plane has been flown since; it has also met all its annual inspections. At the time of purchase, the aircraft would have had the inspection this month. Thanks to the extensive use of weight-saving carbon fiber, the S2, with a 100 horsepower Continental engine, delivers a climb rate comparable to regular aircraft with 50% more power. It can cruise at over 100 mph and has a range over 450 miles. A physical is not required to pilot this aircraft. ***IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL items MUST be collected NO LATER THAN JUNE 30TH.
