The first, last and only one like it that will ever be built, a single seat mini fighter! The DART VADAR. The airplane is Certificated in the Experimental Category and the Engine and Flight controls are set up like a fighter with the trottle and mixture on the left and the stick on the right. Designed and built by Charlie Hooper renowned aircraft engineer and builder. This is the last airplane that Charlie will ever build. He has built many different airplanes from high wings to low wings and also built a Pitts S-2, Glass-airs, Glass-star, RV-6, RV-7, and RV-9 and two of his own with an O-360-A3A 180 HP Lycoming engine and a Prince Carbon fiver propeller which is new and has only a few hours on it. The airplane was completed and the first flight was conducted on 8/5/2016 with absolutely no discrepancies to be addressed. The airplane is pristine and shows as new.
