N71BW is a super low time aircraft with most of the Machen upgrades and features. This Aerostar has been hangared and well maintained over the years. She won Queen of the Fleet in 2016 at the Lake Tahoe convention and made it onto the cover of Aerostar Magazine 2017. N71BW is a far cry from the plane that was delivered by Piper in 1979. There is no known damage history, and maintenance records are complete since delivery in 1979. N71BW has a fantastically updated avionics package, with WAAS enabled Garmin GTN 750 and Garmin 600 PFD. Garmin GDL 88 with GTX 330 transponder is ADSB In/Out compliant. The Century IV autopilot works well. The systems in this plane all work exceptionally well - power comes up smoothly and evenly, and the needles all match up very well. The current owner has done blank check maintenance, going well beyond the basics required to keep a Superstar flying. Nearly all of the available modifications have been done and no expenses spared.

Interior is in very good condition done in Taupe leather with crew seats. All six seats are present, although just the bench and crew seats are pictured. Plastech pleated pull-down shades were installed including optional pilot and co-pilot air bezels.
