Description
I bought this plane to move into a higher performance multi-engine aircraft after flying the Cirrus. It flies regularly, and in less than a year I have put 100 hours on it, primarily flying it back and forth from my home base in Portland, Maine to the NY/NJ area. I invested 70K in engine upgrades along with another 30K on other improvements with the intention of keeping it for some time, but it doesn’t fit my mission anymore. It has every desirable Duke mod and then some. No expense has been spared, including 12 new nickel-carbide coated cylinders installed this year.
Here is a link to all the logs, history, FAA reports on this aircraft going back to 1970, its year of manufacture:

ANNUALS:
The last two annuals were performed by Gary Bongard, who also did the top engine overhauls. Prior annuals were conducted by Sky Warrior, Jerry Bailey, FWF, and Trim-Air.
PERFORMANCE:
It will do roughly 185 Knots down low and 215 knots up high
Cruise climb right after takeoff at 66 GPH and settles in to about 40 GPH in cruise.
A 3000' field is doable with no obstructions but 4000' or greater is recommended.
TRAINING
I trained with George Niemann, who is an experienced Duke pilot and was recommended by the insurance company. Many people also train with Capt Hoffman.

Exterior
Exterior Notes
The paint was done in 2007 and is in excellent condition.
The plane has always been stored in a heated hangar and our pre-buy inspection a year ago found no corrosion.
N23PL has deice boots, heated propellers, and a heated windshield system.
The Deice boots are from 2010 and are in great shape.
The airplane just had a level 2 interior and exterior cleaning which included a Rejex Polymer gloss coating on the exterior and a sealant/moisturizing agent applied to the de-icing boots.
Interior
Interior Notes
Interior was upgraded in 2006 and is in good condition.
