Own a piece of aviation history! This Johnson Rocket is serial number 6 of 18 that were ever built and has type certificate 776. N33341 is a very rare and unique plane that was designed and built by the famous “Pop” Johnson in Fort Worth, Texas. This plane was way ahead of its time. For example, it has retractable landing gear, 3 axis trim, and a controllable propeller for short fields. This plane has flown all over the country since it was one of the demo airplanes. It has 1,117 hrs total time on airframe and has the original 180 hp Lycoming O-435. The prop is a Hartzell HC-D2V20-8. It comes with an additional Lycoming O-435 with 0 hrs since major overhaul that has been properly pickled with preservative oil, along with two overhauled Bendix mags to replace original engine. Major overhaul was done at Tab Air in East Troy, Wisconsin. I have the parts list and paperwork for the engine overhaul. All logs since new. Nothing is missing. No damage history. Sales literature and historic memorabilia. Factory drawings/blueprints on CD. Partially disassembled. Ready for restoration, and currently on trailer for transport. $19,500 OBO.
