Description
MOTIVATED SELLER
Aerostar 601P Built in 1978. Likely the most well traveled Aerostar in the world--- been to all countries in Europe and the Americas, with around 70 Atlantic crossings. It beats any Superstar, because at a slightly slower speed, it can fly much farther. E.g. Owner flies from fly from Mexico to Canada, without landing in the USA, or Reykjavik - Sept Isles (against the winds) without landing on Greenland.
Now, with a total of 7809 hours since new, 1673 hours on the engines since they were factory exchanged and 207 hours on the props since they were overhauled. She is painted in white with red and orange trim. The paint job and interior were done in July 1999 at Sky Harbour Aircraft Finishing in Canada. Maintenance has always been done by Zane Pritts Aviation or Flight Shop. All bulletins and service letters are current.
Aircraft is completely std 601P, except for the Machen kits for door seal inflation, fuel transfer from wing tanks to fuselage tank when fuel expands, Inconel exhaust stacks and an extra tank of 37 + 15 gallons, giving me an extra 2 hours of flying time. A total of 217 gallons gives me an endurance of 8 hours at a fuel flow of 25 gph with a speed of 210 knots. If I want to go faster, I can go 240 knots, but then I burn 32 gph. Each and every hour has been flown by Owner and he knows her "in and out". Aircraft has always been in hangar, in a desert like climate. Registered in Mexico under XB-ANQ."
