This aircraft was purchased directly from the US Government on March 30, 1993 by its first civilian owner. The aircraft has never had an Airworthiness Certification applied, but will be eligible for one upon completion of the restoration. This is regularly done with our complete restorations with similar backgrounds. Research is being done to try to determine the aircraft's total time in service, however if none can be located the airframe total time will be assumed based on comparable aircraft. This practice is common amongst T34s as the military did not usually include the government logs when the aircraft was transferred to civilian ownership. The aircraft was completely disassembled, and all interior and exterior sheet metal skins were replaced on the fuselage. The engine compartment has been converted to accept the IO520/550 series engines. The workmanship is impeccable, and the fuselage is ready to progress in a forward direction. The wings were disassembled and are in the process of being rebuilt to include a set of serviceable Beech common spars and WS66 plates. Many parts have been stripped, primed, and painted. All specific avionics, engine, propeller, paint schemes, and accessories desired by the customer are to be discussed in further detail.
