1,000 Gallon DOT 406 Stainless Steel Skid Tank • Diameter = 55” (4’ 7”) / Length = 96” (8’ 0”) • Horizontal tank mounted on two 120° long skids • Tank heads, shell, baffle, and skids are constructed of 10 gauge 304 stainless steel • Rollover rails are constructed of 14 gauge 304 stainless steel • Included with the tank: o 16” DOT 406 vented manway with stainless steel weld collar (lockable and cam-latch style with 10” fill opening) o 2” FPT fitting with sump for internal emergency valve o 2” MB203 internal emergency valve for tank drain o 2” FPT fitting with SS plug o Remote operator with cables and fusible link and remote shutoff o ½” sight tube with two spring loaded ball valves o Vulcanized rubber strips on the bases of the skids (2) o Mounting kit for tank to be mounted to trailer deck – welded to the skids of the tank and bolted to the trailer frame/deck o 2” FPT fitting with drop tube and MB800 coupler and MB800DP dust plug per CARB requirements o 2” 150# RFSO flange with blind and 2” flanged extension pipe with 2” MB749CRB PIV vent o Exterior welds on tank are cleaned and stripped to remove color and splatter o Interior welds and the interior of the tank are cleaned of splatter and color o This tank is intended for transport of AVGAS or Jet-A fuel, and is legal for over-the-road use o Engineered drawings for customer approvals are included with the purchase of this tank o This tank meets or exceeds DOT406 Code specifications and is labeled accordingly • IWS purchased the tank/trailer new in 2013. • It is filled with AVGAS that was purchased in August 2020. • It is located on San Clemente Island, but we will have it barged to the mainland when a purchaser is found
