The RangeR is the prototype and proof of concept airplane of DAC who started a project to bring an airplane to the market that will be a better aircraft and be more fun to fly and operate and is less expensive to own. The challenge is to make the RangeR the best two-place aircraft for the next ten years. We can do this by designing the aircraft to exploit its mean feature; a low cost diesel engine which burns inexpensive fuel." Martin Hollmann of Aircraft Designs

The airframe is constructed from modern composite materials like GRP or CRP and forms with an HD foam and /or honeycomb core a strong and lightweight sandwich.

The prototype has flown the flight test program with a 2-blade fixed pitch wood propeller from GT Italy. High speed taxiruns where performed with a 3 blade constant speed propeller from MT

Included in the offer are all the tooling (moulds) and Jigs in witch the parts for the prototype are being produced and build.

Pretty nice considered that it is a prototype airplane and small modification are made.

The airplane was designed according EASA CS-VLA. The prototype has shown compliance to these specifications and received the (S) CofA from the Dutch CAA.
