North Eastern US based for the first fifteen years of it's life then California based. When in California it has had premium maintenance at a high dollar facility, Mather Aviation in Sacramento. ACF-50 corrosion treatment applied to entire aircraft. No corrosion, no damage history, no hail. Great example of a Mooney Rocket. First airframe log is missing from new to 1990. Mooney Rockets are a fully supported conversion where a 231 or 252 gets a TSIO 520 installed with the full feathering heated three blade prop from a Cessna 340. If you want to go fast, this is the machine for you: 220 knots at 24,000 or cruise at 215 at 24000 on 17.5 gph! Or flying low at 10,000 cruise at 180-185 knots on 18 gph. Fly down the localizer at 150 knots, pop the speed-brakes, slow to 130 knots, drop the gear, add the flaps, and fly the final at 70 knots! This plane has always been hangared and meticulously maintained and flown routinely throughout the United States. It has no damage history. No expense has been spared in making this Rocket an incredible flying machine. Owner paid 170,000 for this beauty and put more than 50,000 in upgrades
