The MD520N has been a big part of helicopter aviation in New Zealand for decades and these days is perfect for private ownership and operations around cottages and cottage communities where noise and safety are key concerns. The NOTAR technology makes for a safe quiet ride and they love the wind from any direction. With the track dialed in and the Rolls Royce C20R spooled up, the 520N is a glassy ride with excellent speed and it handles turbulence without concern.
