    Description
This is the opportunity to buy a beautiful, hangared cross country cruiser. Commander added a lot of innovation and "large airplane features" to these: very beefy landing gear, doors on both sides, spacious cockpit, rear and baggage compartment, illuminated step, etc. The 260hp IO-540 gives you 150 kts cruise easily somewhere between 12 - 13 gph, or a 160 kts max at around 14.5 gph. New Battery on 28 Oct 22. Passed IFR inspection with flying colors on 27 Oct 22. Engine is at 1390 hrs TSN and 225 hrs since top overhaul. She's got a 3-Blade McCauley Prop (940 hrs TSMOH). Great compressions at last annual (April 2022): #1 80/80 #2 78/80 #3 78/80 #4 80/80 #5 78/80 #6 78/80 The paint was done 2016 (4/5) and the original leather interior is well taken care of (3/5). The owner kept complete records and everything on his plane has been documented. Complete records. Damage History: In 2011, runway excursion into soft grass resulted in prop strike, crumpled firewall, broken right main strut, and belly/fuselage damage. Gear, firewall, fuselage repair, and tear-down inspection (by Fred Lawshe, Louisiana, and JB Marshall at Morristown Flying Service, Tennessee). She has been flying well in the ten years since then. The equipment and avionics make it a great cross-country IFR cruiser: - Garmin GNS 530 WAAS - Garmin Aera 795 on yoke-mount (connected to 530, gives Wx & Traffic) - Garmin GTX 330 Transponder (ADS-B compliant), with Echo transceiver - Arctic Air Portable Air Conditioner - G1 Insight Graphic Engine Monitor - Bendix King KX 165 - King KAP / KFC 200 Autopilot with Auto-Yaw Damper - Bendix / King ADF - Bendix /King KN64 DME - PMA 7000MS Audio Panel - USB Charger in Panel - DAVTRON 307FC Air Temp
