    Project Details: Aircraft is a complete project and requires a complete restoration. Currently FAA registered. No AD’s complied with including the spar AD. Aircraft has never flown in civilian hands. Spar straps available minus hardware and STC paperwork. History: JRB-2 Bureau No 4725 had the acceptance date September 29, 1941. Navy records from 1941- June 1946 were lost. However, complete airframe, engine, propeller, and accessory logs from 1946 until it was sold surplus by the Navy in 1967 to Tarrant County Junior College in Fort Worth. TCJC used it for an A&P school trainer until the early 1990’s at which time they donated It to the Vintage Flying Museum. TCJC used it as a carburetor trainer and did run the engines Back in the 1980’s. The aircraft has never been flown since retired from the military in 1967. It Has been stored in a hangar almost the entire time since being retired from the Navy.
