This truly is one of the cleanest, nicest flying and smoothest running 185's on the planet. This is a hands off machine that no longer suits the requirements of the owners. All the good mods have been done, the plane is ready to fly away.

The aircraft started as a "no" damage history, very light corrosion aircraft at the time of purchase. The aircraft was completely disassembled in 2010 (500 hours ago) for an inside / outside paint / interior restoration. All sheet metal was meticulously inspected and any defects were dealt with. All bearings hinges and rod ends were replaced at this time. This was as close to zero timing the airframe as anyone but the manufacturer can carry out.

The engine was overhauled by Progressive Air in Kamloops BC in April 2002. The cylinders were removed and repaired in May 2017 (154 hours ago) due to valve guide wear. The turbocharger was overhauled in May 2017 by Main Turbo. The engine has GAMI turbo injectors and an ADC oil filtration system.

The prop was overhauled in May of 2017 by A.C. Propeller Service of Seattle WA and has 154 hours since overhaul. The prop has been shortened to a -6 for quieter operation.

Amphibious

The aircraft is painted with the PPG base / clearcoat system. The aircraft base white was Deltron DBC 2000 and Deltron 2000 Dark and Dramatic series Roadhouse Blue. The top coat was the top of the line PPG DU1000 Durethane clear.

2010

The interior of the aircraft was refurbished in Vancouver BC by Kaiser Custom interiors. The seats were reupholstered, door panels were covered and a new headliner installed.

The aircraft is in annual May 2022 and is flown regularly. All AD's have been complied with.
