    Description
Exquisite, beautifully restored PA-15 Vagabond. Each piece restored to factory specifications. This is a flying piece of history, the airplane that brought Piper out of bankruptcy after the war. Built simply and economically, it has a side-by-side seating design instead of the tandem seating in a Cub to enjoy the company of your passengers! This plane has a rebuilt engine, brand new wood prop and new poly-fiber wrap with Piper yellow paint finished just this year. The owner meticulously restored it inside out and looks like it rolled off the manufacturing floor. This is a unique piece you must see to really grasp how impressive how this restoration turned out.

    Avionics/Radios
This is a basic day-VFR cruiser with original gauges - tach, airspeed, altimeter, oil temp and pressure, compass and slip / skid ball. Check out the Piper branded gauges! They're a great detail. The owner ran an external antenna to use with a handheld so you can get in and out of controlled airspace. No ADS-B or transponder so you've got to avoid the Bravos The plane has been wired for lighting and such, so no need to run wiring for the night upgrade, but the new owner would need to add those components and a battery
