    Description
1950 Navion Model A - Located at X04 - Orlando-Apopka Airport This is a special plane and there are VERY few good ones left in the world. Probably less than 400 flying around. She is something special to fly in to Sun and Fun and flys like a Cadillac. She has great STOL capabilities with large tires I have landed her on rough grass runways. Here is a link to learn more about these incredible planes... I bought this plane in 2009 thinking I would become a pilot and fly her all over. I flew her only 4-5 times and now I live in India. I love this bird and have continued to hold onto her for years thinking I would come back and get her in the air. My last attempt was 4 years ago while I was in Orlando and had her annual done and she was looking great. Engine was strong with no leaks. Prop was serviced. Unfortunately, I had to move to India and I would now rather see her go to someone who would fix her up and care for a great bird. After 4 years of sitting in the Florida sun tied down she needs some TLC now. Also, I found out recently when a friend inspected her that the last AP jacked her up wrong and damaged the wing spars. See the pictures in this post. After talking to a couple repair shops it would cost between $7K - $12K to get her all fixed up again. I will take this into consideration for anyone making a reasonable offer to take her. PLEASE NOTE: The specs entered into this listing are approximate as I don't have the documents in front of me. I will return to the US on Sept. 23rd and will be available to show the plane in person through October end 2022 along with all log books and documentation I have. This is an AS-IS sale. Here are some additional specs: At 3,000 Ft and 70% Power she should cruise around 146-150 MPH Fuel consumption around 11 GPH S/N NAV-4-2016 N63333 / N5116K - 3944.6 TT - 382.7 SMOH - Aircraft has Continental Chrome E225-4 engine - Hartzell constant speed Propeller HC A2V20-41A/V8433N - Prop Inspection AD 97-18-0 Mar 17, 2009 and again Sept 2018 - Aircraft has no corrosion or major damage history, all records and history are included.
