Year: 1952 History: • “Co-starred” in movie Motherlode with Charlton Hesston and Kim Basinger 1982. Then it underwent extensive full restoration in 1990’s. • Featured in AOPA Pilot magazine and at Sun N Fun Fly-in • Pampered for 30 years on wheels by previous owners in climate controlled hangar. Registered in U.S. until 2018, U.S. logs included. • Pampered since 2018 on fantastic new 6100 floats installed by Wipline. TT on these floats 42 hours. Floats 9+/10 and completely tight. 2 pumps. Big hatches. Great performance on these fast floats. • Useful load: 1423 pounds on floats. • Imported and registered in commercial category in Canada 2018 but never used commercially. Now registered private category. Can be easily re-registered in commercial category. • Current owner is old. It’s time to have someone younger enjoy this pampered creampuff, or put her to work for a change. Airframe is like new, and price is a good value. Fantastic aircraft, compressions fine, no engine issues.
