Walter M601, producing 750SHP, overhauled in 2017 (typical speeds upwards of 270-290KTAS), with HALON fire suppression.

Custom 5-blade Avia prop, fully reversible, overhauled in 2022 (initial climb rates in excess of 5,000 ft/min.)

- Engine intakes relocated to the bottom of the cowl for better air intake at high AOA - Oil cooler moved from the belly, to the top of the engine, preventing any oil overtemp issues whatsoever (even while on the ground during peak summer temps in TX) - Auxiliary fuel tank added to the belly section (in place of the old oil cooler) providing an extra 40 gal….resulting in a typical 1hr or 250NM increase of range. - Larger bubble canopy providing a massive increase in cockpit head space and comfort - Larger/taller vertical stab which dramatically increases stability and at low airspeeds and high AOA. - Added full rear cockpit flight controls, including throttle and prop controls (with BETA/reverse), and flap control.
