    Description
Detailed Description 2020 Mattituck rebuild, only 201 SMOH! 2500 hrs total time, G5 and GTN225 alongside a 430W! Beautiful paint and interior round out a gorgeous example of an AA5 that is ready to fly away today. Annualed 10/29/22. Check out listing for more details! Avionics / Equipment Aircraft had suction system removed with an electronic DG and a G5 AI installed alongside a Garmin 430W, GTN225 comm 2 and a GMA340 Audio Panel (with aux hookup). Stratus transponder. Digital fuel totalizer. Century II autopilot installed but placarded as inop. Everything outside of the autopilot is in perfect functioning order. Airframe This Grumman AA5 Traveler is a real head turner and one of the sportiest fixed piston singles around. It has very low total time and is truly ready to fly. Annualed 10/29/22. Engines / Mods / Prop Lycoming 0320 with 160 hp stc Only 201 hours SMOH on a Mattituck rebuild (2020) Features Lycoming high compression cylinder kits (STC info plate installed as shown in photos) 10/29/22 compressions: 1 - 79/80 2 - 79/80 3 - 79/80 4 - 79/80 Interior / Exterior This airplane got a repaint and new interior in 2017. Paint is a 8 out of 10, interior 8.5 out of 10. Nice navy and white paint scheme really attracts attention and the tan leather with black piping is a great accent. All glass is in pretty good shape, especially the windscreen and glass on the sliding canopy. Remarks This Traveler is a beautiful example of a low-time, thoroughly-loved bird who has been hangared all her life. The best thing is being able to get an updated bird with new engine and avionics. This would be a perfect trainer or XC traveler (no pun intended) for trips long or short. Get a roomier cabin than a Pa28 with easier access, sportier handling and 10% faster cruise speed on the same engine! Aircraft is hangared in Columbia, Missouri (COU) and available for showing.
