The Lynx HMA8 is a multi-role maritime helicopter with a wheeled undercarriage and deck lock system, for all-weather operation from, principally, frigate and destroyer flight decks. It is powered by two Rolls Royce Gem Mk 205 or Mk 204 turboshaft engines, driving a 4-bladed main rotor and a 4-bladed tail rotor. Each engine produces 800 SHP (597 kw) at 102.5% Nf. The rotor system consists of a semi-rigid titanium main rotor hub and a conventional tail rotor hub. All Up Mass is 5330kgs.
