WAUSAU DF-3500–AIRPORT SNOW BLOWER Two-stage, full mechanical snow blower head. Dual Engine Unit. Multi-Purpose Unit. BLOWER HEAD Full mechanical two stage design with separate shear pin safety of both ribbon and impeller. Shape and dimensioning of both stages, the ribbons (first stage) and the impeller (second stage) are optimized to allow for heavy duty snow clearing operations while assuring maximum output. Available with clearing widths of 108”, 112″ and 120”, and impeller diameter of 52” and 59″. Left hand or right hand flat discharge. POWER PACKAGE Blower engine options range from 400 hp to 700 hp, providing outputs between 3000 and 6000 tons per hour. Power is transferred from the engine to the blower head either by chain and/or gear drives. With single or two speed capabilities. All drive train components are engineered with ample built-in safety margins to assure reliability and longevity. CARRIER Specialized, heavy-duty chassis with front wheel or four (4) wheel steer 60,000 lbs. GVW with a minimum 30,000 lbs. front and rear axle rating (planetary axles). Carrier engine options range from 300 to 470 hp. Available with WAUSAU’s Maximum Visibility Cab for unsurpassed views and operator comfort. Available with two (2) speed transfer case with rear axle disconnect or a optional 70/30 split planetary proportioning rear differential. In addition a automatic lock and unlock differential is available using the “ADM” (Automatic Drive train Management) system.
