Description
Recently arrived at our Showroom, A very well presented Boeing-Stearman with a glorious history behind her. Over the years we have seen many Beautiful Stearman’s, however this one is something else! The combination of the restoration which was done in 1999 by Black Barn Aviation and the attentative upkeep of the current owner who has owned her for over 24 years has brought her back to life with passion and love and the aircraft is as close as possible to what she would have looked like out of the factory back in 1943. Spending her early years as a US Navy trainer, then onto Crop Dusting in the state of California and now sitting proud in our showroom she is a real eye catcher. The restoration copied that of the original design with both instrument panels restored to have the US Navy Mk 8 compass and Mk 5 electric tachometers. The original sidewall electric panels, fire extinguisher/intercom panels, removable instrument flying hood and US Navy locking tail wheel which she would have had.
