    Factory Built SLSA Aircraft. This is the 4 place aircraft in Austrailia that happens to fit in SLSA (without the back seats installed). Night VFR, The Jabiru J230 is a 3 door aircraft with a wide cockpit, high cabin, ample leg room and a huge baggage compartment in the back. Designed as a touring aircraft, it shares the same fuselage, landing gear, wings, tail and engine as the J430 four place aircraft, just without the rear seating installed. Jabiru airframes are manufactured using Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) technologies, featuring Jabiru’s ‘Safety Capsule” Occupant Protection Construction. It is a system which offers light weight with high structural integrity in a clean aerodynamic design. 8.4″ GRT Sport SX EFIS PFD w/ Synthetic Vision, Terrain & Internal GPS, moving map.     Ground Adjustable, 2 Blade Composite Scimitar Propeller. The Jabiru Propellers detailed in this manual are 2-bladed Scimitar ground adjustable designs. The blades are constructed of fibreglass composite while the hub is forged from Aluminium. A Urethane protective coating is applied to the leading edge of both blades. The propeller finish is black Gel-coat, though other colours may be used for some applications. The propeller has a designed time between overhaul of 1,000 hours. These propellers are compliant with ASTM F2506-10 for operations in Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) category aircraft.
