2005 Jabiru J160 Built by Les Duguid of Childers, Qld. First reg. in 2005, and owned by Les until Feb, 2023. Equipped with Jabiru 2200, 4 cyl 80 hp engine - Fitted last year with Rotec water-cooled heads, and copper rads. plus 2 x elect. pumps, and aux. fan. Eng. fitted with vacuum pump, and A/C equipped with A/H and Direct. Gyro. It has electric flaps, vortex generators, 2 x landing lights, stall warning aural tone, plus lights to indicate choke and carb heat in use. Aircraft is also equipped with a new Microair radio and Transponder, plus Lowrance GPS, and 2 x headsets. Wings can hold 140 litres of fuel (10+ hours endurance) plus fuel flow meter (13 lit/hr at altitude).
